Nice we ride out with Adrian today. We met in Belfast city centre, then did a loop to Lisburn along Ballylesson Road, Carryduff via the Saintfield Road and B178, then continued on to Moneyreagh before dropping down to Castlereagh and returning to Belfast again. We only got rained on once, and it wasn’t much.

45 miles, 15.0mph average. Check out the details on Garmin Connect.

I’m not entirely sure what I did yesterday, but whatever it was it wrecked my legs and I was hurting by the time I got home again. Adrian did a lot better than the last time we were out, which is nice, though he still feels he’s not ready for Lap the Lough just yet and has decided to skip this year. He’s going to have a crack at the Marie Curie Limavady 80k in September, which has made up my mind about taking part. Best get signed up!

Legs are burning now. Cake fixes that, right?
