dhb finchdean cycling jersey review

by John Girvin | tagged: | permalink

I needed a new short sleeve top for summer and the dhb Finchdean Short Sleeve Cycling Jersey from Wiggle seemed to fit the bill, with a great price for the features it offers. I’ve now had one of these tops (in snazzy red) for a number of weeks and even used it on the 2009 Bangor Coastal Challenge (under a waterproof). This is what I think of it so far.

The technical fabric is comfortable on the skin, highly breathable and dries quickly. Underarm vents keep you cool and rubberised grips around the hem hold the top in place when you’re on the bike. The three large back pockets are easily accessible even when wearing mitts and offer enough space for a day’s supply of bananas and energy bars.

The only problem I had with the top – and it’s a minor one – were a few stray threads that came loose from the collar area after a few washes and had to be cut off. Hardly worth mentioning!

This is a great value short sleeve cycling jersey and I’d recommend it to anyone.
