CycleNI have announced a brand new, great looking sportive event for Northern Ireland: The Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive.
The Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive offers unique cycling through simply breathtaking landscapes.
Taking place on Saturday 17th September, cyclists have the choice of 3 routes (57km; 126km; 182km) all based on the iconic North Coast of Ireland and stunning Glens of Antrim. If you’re after spectacular scenery coupled with the opportunity to tackle some of the toughest hills Northern Ireland has to offer then the Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive is for you!
The main event is supported by a social evening the night before with guest speaker and Team Radioshack pro cyclist, Philip Deignan.
All three routes are challenging, and if you’ve ever driven up the coastal route or over Torr Head, you’ll appreciate they mean what they say about the spectacular scenery. The nominated charity is Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Online entry costs £35 and is open now. For this, and more information, visit the main Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive site or their Facebook Page.

So, which are you doing? 182km sounds like a long way.
Yeah, it does! I’d consider the 126Km route, if I’m available on that date.
