Lap The Lough 2011 Announced

by John Girvin | tagged: , , | permalink

Details of this year’s Lap The Lough: Lap 6 event have been released, and it’s all change.

There’s a new start, at Maghery Country Park, and the route is anticlockwise this year so we go through Portadown centre earlier in the day when traffic will be lighter. There’s a new High 5 Energy Stop at 20 miles to go where High 5 gels will be handed out to boost any flagging legs. The event is also bigger than ever before, with a new cap of 2,000 riders.

And speaking of caps, every finisher this year will receive an exclusive LTL Cycling Cap.

Lap The Lough: Lap 6 takes place on 28th August 2011. Entries are now open and are filling up. For full details and registration forms, visit the (also all new) Lap The Lough website.
