The Limavady Cycle Challenge is a ride supporting the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity, and entries are now open. Entry costs £10 for adults and both 10Km and 50Km courses are available.
Saturday, September 26 2009.
The Limavady Cycle Challenge is completely unique to Marie Curie Cancer Care as the routes have been specifically planned for this event. No other charity will offer these cycles.
The 10km route leaves Roe Valley Country Park leading onto back country roads taking in spectacular views of Benbradagh Mountain and is suitable for families or novice cyclists as there is very little traffic.
If you are more experienced or would like a challenge the 50km route would be ideal as it is suitable for cyclists with a range of abilities. Also leaving from Roe Valley Country Park you will see views of the Binevenagh and Benbradagh Mountains where paragliders soar in the skies above. Take in views of the Sperrins and of Lough Foyle with the Donegal Hills in the distance.
Help us make this new event a great success by telling friends and family!
More information and downloadable entry forms are available from the Marie Curie Cancer Care website.

This evocative description has caused me, for the first time ever, to wish I sometimes visited NI !
You should come over some time. It’s wet, but it sure is pretty.
One day … Maybe get all the Manchester Twitter riders to get the ferry. Can you cope with Gaz & Joby, not sure I could!
I’m sure both I and Northern Ireland would survive. Erm … our kid.
Seriously, if you ever feel like sailing over for an event it’d be great craic. Maybe I’ll see you at next year’s Lap The Lough?
