sunday ride 2009/02/15

Today I took a 28 mile loop from Carnmoney to Whitehead, a half coastal, half hills road loop.

The outward leg along the coast was pleasant, but there at the turnaround point there was an unexpectedly tough climb up into the hill section at the village of Ballycarry. I was certainly glad by BeOne Storm has a triple chainset!

On the homeward leg I ran out of food and water and had a fairly stiff headwind to boot. Not too pleasant! But I’m sure I’ll do it again all the same.
