Tesco Flat Pack Fork Fail
On a trip to my local Tesco recently I noticed some childrens’ bikes on display near the store entrance, but something wasn’t right. The forks were on backwards.

BikeDock Bargain Bikes Weekend
Over 150 adult and children’s bicycles have been very generously donated to Belfast bicycle specialists Bikedock, who will revamp them for the “Bargain Bike Weekend” to raise funds for Northern Ireland’s leading local cancer charity the Ulster Cancer Foundation.

Third World Cycle 2011
This Sunday, 17th of April, the Third World Pedal Pushers are holding their annual charity cycle tour, with a choice of 10 or 60 mile routes. This is a very popular tour which caters for families as well as the “serious” cyclist.

Chain Reaction Credit Card Fraud – Update
Previously, a number of Chain Reaction customers, including myself, had reported unauthorised transactions appearing on their credit cards after placing orders with the online retailer. Working with independent experts, the company has now found and permanently closed the security hole.

Doagh based Chain Reaction Cycles have acknowledged that a number of customers have experienced unauthorised charges on their credit cards after ordering items from the Chain Reaction website. I, unfortunately, am one of those customers.
